Maintaining my gardening tools is one of the things I say I’m going to improve on every year, but as people that know me will confirm, I’m not very good at cleaning and putting them away after use. What I do try and do though, in the winter is go through my tools and give them a thorough clean and sharpen. At least this way I’m starting the year off with a shed full of clean and sharp tools. Even just a once a year overhall helps to prolong their life.
